I often buy men's belts. I find that they are commonly cheaper and better made than the average woman's belt.

shut eye
Sad to say, bu
t the "eye" has been shut down for over a year! But we're not out of it. Fashion continues to be my favorite hobby but I think the format of this blog is going to have to change if the blog is to continue! Today I find myself musing over the shift "back" to the 70s. I'll date myself now and say this is when I began to take a serious look at fashion but, being a poor teen, did not have much $$ to spend. I'm delight to now be able to indulge (in moderation) in some of my favorite styles of the era.

Fall in general brings me back to one of my favorite fabrics for pants: corduroy. I am delighted with the new shapes and styles that are out there this season, but none charms me more than the high-waited flare, particularly in falls colors like this one (above left) from JBrand!
A close second is this lovely pair of corduroy leggings from Gap (above right) in my new favorite fall color. Pair with a chunky sweater and ankle boots and, "voila!" you're ready to meet fall head-on.
Other delights include midi-length skirts, knit turtle-necks, silky blouses, and stacked heel boots. I can't wait to mix and match. Happy Fall!
